DIXI, the Documentum Import/eXport Interface, is Blue Fish's original Content Migrations product. DIXI enables complex importing and exporting to, from and between Documentum systems, ensuring that our clients don't lose any valuable information as they upgrade to new platforms or consolidate disparate repositories.

DIXI, an XML-based toolkit, uses an open architecture so that content can be manipulated from virtually any data source. Along the way, users can transform the information and apply unique business logic to evolve their content management infrastructure.

DIXI has the power and flexibility to handle all types of migration challenges. It has been used in the following situations:

• Transferring content between repositories, including different versions of Documentum
• Moving and auditing the movement of regulatory documents in validated environments – critical in industries such as life sciences and financial services
• Performing bulk updates to metadata, relationships, locations and all other aspects of Documentum content
• As part of a larger application that performs frequent imports to or exports from Documentum
