AJ Whitney

As our Product Development Manager, AJ loves the challenge of delivering products that provide the cornerstones for many of Blue Fish's custom solutions. AJ comes to this position with a wealth of varied experiences. After a stint as first mate aboard a New England whale watching vessel, AJ decided that his engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon could be used for more than tracking 60 tons of blubber through the frigid North Atlantic – and instead spent the next 10 years pursuing elegant software design at numerous software and consulting companies around the country.

When AJ isn’t developing software (or playing classic arcade games), he spends as much time as possible outside. In fact, he has thru-hiked all 2175 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine!
