Millions of Documents Migrated with Zero System Downtime

AUSTIN, TX - Blue Fish Development Group, the enterprise content management experts, today announced they have been selected to present at EMC World 2010, May 10-13 in Boston, Massachusetts. EMC World is an educational forum that highlights trends and innovations in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) industry.

Presenting alongside their client Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Blue Fish will present a case study of a complex content migration project in a regulated environment. Utilizing Migration Workbench, a revolutionary migration technology from Blue Fish along with an innovative new methodology called Agile Migrations, Solvay was able to migrate millions of documents with zero system downtime.

The project required migrating regulated documents into data centers located in different countries from multiple enterprise content management technologies, including EMC Documentum and Microsoft SharePoint. Using the Agile Migration methodology and Migration Workbench, the project was performed successfully in half the time and with half the budget of previous migrations.
